Bed of Roses free piano sheet music by Bon Jovi
About the song
"Bed of Roses" is a hard rock song by Bon Jovi, released in 1993 and featured on the fifth album for Bon Jovi, titled "Keep the Faith".
The album is special because the band moved from their early glam rock style to a more rock ’n roll vibe, starting the integration of piano ballads and great guitar solos.
Supposedly written by Jon Bon Jovi when he was hungover in a hotel room, "Bed of Roses" has become a power ballad and one of Bon Jovi’s signature songs, being one of their first "truly mature" songs.
The single has reached rank number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts, as well as ranking fifth on the top 40 mainstream charts. In 1993, the single has also charted around the world, in places such as Australia, where it ranked tenth, Belgium with place 23, France place 49, the tenth position in Germany, ninth in the Netherlands, tenth in New Zealand, place 27 in Sweden, ninth in Switzerland, 13 on the UK Singles charts, at the end of the year occupying rank 57 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
"Bed of Roses", becoming one of their signature songs, has been included on Bon Jovi’s greatest hits album titled "Cross Roads" and also featured as an acoustic version on the "This Left Feels Right" album.
A Spanish version titled "Cama de Rosas" has also been released soon after the 1993 initial version.
The music video features Sambora playing guitar on a mountain and footage of Jon in a room, intertwined with scenes of the band’s studio recording, as well as live footage from their performances.
