About Radiohead

Radiohead is the name of the rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

The band Radiohead has been formed in 1985 and it includes the singer Thom Yorke, which also plays the guitar, Jonny Greenwood - also guitar -, Ed O'Brien - guitar and backing vocals -, Colin Greenwood - bass - and Phil Selway - drums, percussion and backing vocals - .

Radiohead has released their debut single "Creep" in 1992. The song became a world hit after the release of their debut album, "Pablo Honey" (1993).

Their second album was named "The Bends" and was released in 1995.

The second album didn’t have so much success in Europe, but it become popular in U.K. Radiohead's third album, "OK Computer" was released in 1997 and reached No.1 in U.K. Albums Chart.

"Kid A" was the fourth studio album of the band. It was released in 2000.

Great appreciation was given for this one, because was the band's first number one in America, and also was named as 'The best album of the 2000s' by Rolling Stone magazine. The album includes 10 tracks. The opening track is named "Everything in Its Right Place".

In 2009 Radiohead toured in support of the seventh album "In Rainbows".

The band took time off in 2010. In this time Yorke built a new band called Atoms for .Peace.

At the beginning of 2011, another album was finished, named "The King of Limbs", which also was released through their website. Radiohead made a tour for The King of Limbs. The last album, "A Moon Shaped Pool", has been released on May 8, 2016.
