Louane Emera is the stage name of Anne Peichert, a pop singer from France and also an actress.
Born on 26th the November, year 1996 in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Henin-Beaumont, she got known for reaching the semifinals of the TV show "The Voice". In the French edition of "The Voice", she had been assisted by her coach, Louis Bertignac. After this success, she received a role in the movie "La Famille Belier", for which she won a Cesar Award.
In this 2014 movie, she starred as Paula Belier and won the Cesar Award for Most Promising Actress. At the Lumieres Awards ceremony, she also managed to win the category for Most Promising Actress.
Before starring in this huge movie for her, however, she participated in two important competitions. First, in 2008, she took part of "L’Ecole des stars".
Afterwards, the 2013 edition of "The Voice" made her known to the wide audience. In 2014 and 2015 she was called as a guest in different shows, such as "On n’est pas couche" and "Le Grand Cabaret sur son 31" in 2014. In 2015 she was a guest in "Le Grand Journal", "Du cote de chez Dave" and "Touche pas a mon poste!".
Her debut studio album was released on the second of March, 2015 and made available in two formats: on CD and as a music download. The label that backed the release was Mercury Music Group. It was very successful in France, reaching the top of the charts. In Belgium it managed to reach second place and even sixth in Switzerland.
Before releasing this debut album however, she had already released an extended play in 2014. Titled "Avenir", it was released on the first of December as a music download format, by the same Mercury Music Group label. It wasn’t very successful in France however, managing to only get as high as rank 198 on the charts.
In 2013 she is known for three singles which she sung during her participation in "The Voice" TV show. First of all, "Un homme heureux" got as high as rank 126 on the French charts. It was followed by "Quelqu’un m’a dit", which charted at 146 and "Imagine" which only got as high as 160.
A more successful single was the one from her "Avenir" extended play from 2014, titled "Jour 1". It managed to get position number 22 on the French charts and even 41 in Belgium. In 2015, her fame rose even higher with singles "Avenir" and "Maman".
