"Turn Your Love Around" is a song from the American singer George Benson.

It was created to complete his album "The George Benson Collection". This album has been recorded throughout the years 1968-1981 as it contains hits from many other albums.

This includes, besides "Turn Your Love Around", "Give Me The Night", "Never Give Up On A Good Thing", "White Rabbit", "Cast Your Fate To The Wind", "Love All The Hurt Way", "The Greatest Love Of All","Last Train To Clarksville", "Moody's Mood", "Nature Boy", "Breezin", "This Masquerade", "Living Inside Your Love", "We Got The Love", "Love Ballad" and "Here Comes The Sun".

The album was released through Warner Bros in 1981 and it was a two-record set. Having sold many copies it was certified gold in the United States. The jazz and R&B album was produced by Michael Masser, Creed Taylor, Jay Graydon, Tommy LiPuma, Arif Mardin and the great producer Quincy Jones.

"Turn Your Love Around" is a vocal pop and R&B song. It reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the soul charts in the US. It was present in top ten of the jazz chart as well as in Canada. It was named  the 27th biggest song of the year of its release, 1982.

The single was written by Steve Lukather, Bill Champlin, Jay Graydon and also produced by  the latter. According to him, the inspiration for the song came only four days before he had to complete the album "The George Benson Collection".

A sample of "Turn Your Love Around" appeared on "Not Tonight", Lil Kim's album and also on "Da.Yo.Ne" from East End X Yuri, which sold one million copies in Japan in 1994. The single stands as one of the first to have a Linn LM-1 drum machine. It was programmed by the session drummer Jeff Porcaro.

"Turn Your Love Around" received a Grammy Award for "Best R&B Song", the winners being the writers: Steve Lukather, Jay Graydon and Bill Champlin.

A hit from the 1980's, this single has been covered even decades after its initial release. in October 1981. Its B-Side was "Nature Boy", also a successful song. A mixture of pop and R&B, the song runs a duration of 3:50 minutes.
